Who we are
The Healing Tree ("we", "us") is operated by Spout Technologies (Pty) Ltd. We run the storefront at thehealingtree.app and the associated mobile apps. Contact: hello@thehealingtree.app.
What we collect
- Account data — name, email address, phone number when you create an account.
- Order data — delivery address, items purchased, payment status (but not card numbers; those are handled by our payment processor).
- Device & usage data — browser/device information, pages viewed, and interactions with the app, via Firebase Analytics.
- Customer support — any information you share with us when you contact support.
How we use your information
- To fulfil your orders and handle delivery and returns.
- To authenticate you, keep your account secure, and support your use of the service.
- To improve the product, diagnose issues, and measure the performance of features.
- To send transactional communications (order confirmations, shipping updates).
Who we share it with
We share data only with the processors needed to run the service: Firebase / Google Cloud (hosting, auth, analytics), our payment processor (for charges), and our logistics partners (for delivery). We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@thehealingtree.app. You can also delete your account from the Account page in the app.
Data retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Order records are retained for seven years to comply with tax and consumer protection law. Analytics data is retained according to Firebase Analytics defaults.
Children
The Healing Tree is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
